Mac Pro system requirements

Important notes:

  1. NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500 graphics card is only compatible with the PCI Express architecture that comes with the Mac Pro systems listed above. This graphics card, required for 3D stereo viewing on a Mac, is not supported in previous versions of the Mac Pro system.
  2. System Memory (RAM) - You may wish to add more memory depending on the size of the datasets you are using. Mac Pro supports up to 16GB of RAM.
  3. Graphics displays - the Mac Pro with PCI Express architecture drives two displays per video card, up to a total of 16 simultaneous displays. Any combination of CRT (VGA) and TFT (DVI) displays is supported.
